Axle and Alloys Game Report
« on: 25 February 2010, 01:57:41 PM »
I re-discovered these rules a few weeks ago and set about converting some 1/64 scale toy cars to use with them, together with a friend at the local club who did the same.

We set up a playtest a couple of days ago which I though might be of interest. It was a good game and the rules worked well although it would suit multiplayer more than head to head  ???

It's the sort of thing that would scale up well to 28mm (there are some guidlines for doing this in the rules).

Anyway, have a look if car wars, battlecars, dark future or the like are your thing o_o:

Incidentally the cars on the rounded off bases and the wrecked vehicles are the work of my mate Jon while the other cars on the squared off bases are mine.

I'm prepping for the same thing.   :o    An A&A v.2 game.  I converted the same Hummer model as you hav ein your photos.  Yours looks better though.
This is my boomstick!
