Kampgruppe Commander II

My wargaming group is hooked on KGCII. It is a great set of rules easy to learn and quick to play. I am looking to move from Europe to the Pacific. (I have enough amphibious ships and vehicles to land a regiment of Marines). Has anyone developed their own house rules for amphibious landings and Japanese units?
It is better to have gamed and lost than to never have gamed at all.
