Pre-cast bases?
« on: 24 May 2010, 08:20:54 PM »
Maybe it's just the new Red Dead Redemption video game, but I've now got the hankerin' to paint up some cowboys and gunslingers.

I've ordered a few minis from Black Scorpion, but was just curious to know if there are any 'wild west' pre-cast resin bases?

I really like the easy and look of those, and have plenty of modern or urban rubble type bases, but was wondering about this.

Anyone have any suggestions?

You could try pirate looking ones, as they have wooden planking.

cheers

Fenris and Dragon Forge Designs both make desert bases that should be eminently suitable for Wild West-themed gaming...

Yes...but which size? 25mm straight edge, 30mm round lip, insert for those, square or something else?

AHHHH! All those choices make my head spin..

I like pretty much everything but square.
