Dark Age Miniatures
« on: August 12, 2010, 09:31:14 PM »
Dark Age Miniatures just released a new quick start ruleset.

www.dark-age.com/Downloads/QuickStart/Quickstartrules2010.pdf

They are currently working on a new rulebook for the game.  I played a demo and the new rules look promising.

You can also download the army lists (only until they release the rules)

Great minis, interesting backstory but a lack of local players has put DA at the back of my gaming cupboard.

I almost eBayed my Forsaken & Skaard factions last month - perhaps this will relight the DA fires?

They just rebooted the rules and clarified a few things. I believe all the models are still viable so you won't lose anything in the transition if you have played Dark Age before. They are also adding new factions/sub factions to the game to make things interesting.

Dark Age is one of my favorite games to play and now that they are also going for a more post apoc style game (see wasteland warriors) makes it even better!

A small number of models won't make the cut and a few of the others are becoming "generic".

More information here.

Uh, isn't this a science fiction game?  Every other miniature seems to be 'packing heat'.  Shouldn't it be in the sci-fi board?  ;)
