Hmmm a poster as backdrop sounds like a good idea.  I shall have to look for one.  As it happens I intend to leave the table in place over the next few weeks or so to motivate me in the painting of minis.  Before the end of the month I hope to have had a game on it as well.

there are quite a few backdrops available for railway modelling.

we made a quite primitive backdrop for a club presentation, which was structured blue wallpaper pasted on a MDF board and supported with bookends from the side.
But we also thought about railway backdrops, and there are so many available, we could not make a decision on short notice
