First game: more Formless fun
« on: November 05, 2010, 07:09:00 PM »
Sat down to play a couple games last night. Nice setup with some cabins in the spooky woods. I brought the lurkers, my opponent brought the fresh new Threshold recruits. Rolled a scenario. Monster Attack! Hello, Formless Thing. (Hey, sounds familiar.)

Honestly, it was a cake walk for the pseudopodded one. Squicking around left and right, chasing down those pesky agents with their ineffective bullets and their propensity to scream like kids on a roller coaster.

Second game, Retrieve the Artifacts. I sent in a Mummy and his Zombie servant, and a few Cultists who really wanted to keep their distance from the Egyptian terror, yet stay close enough to benefit from his Command skill. The Threshold heroes managed to get two artifacts (including a spell!) free before they were routed by their fearsome foes.

We were still getting the swing of the rules, but a good time was had. Looking forward to risking my neck as the Agents next time.

"Seriously, there is an outrageous amount of running involved."

Yeah i dit Monster one for my group as the first agme.  I let them all run an Agent and they fought a shambler i think.

It was fun and everyone enjoyed it.

Though now we do seem to see a lot of dangerous cultist when the Threasehold team rolls into town..

Become who you really are... [/i]
