Indian Mutiny project ~ February update
« on: 27 February 2011, 12:36:05 PM »
I've painted 110 figures for the project this month, all from Foundry except the artillery pieces which are from Mutineer Miniatures { and one I got on eBay}.

My cavalry's command stand ~ the hound is a freebie from Warlord games ~ thanks chaps!

RHA/Bengal Horse Artillery

Siege gun ~ from an eBay auction with a few spare crew figures 'adapted' to purpose. The overall Army command stand in the rear.

RA siege mortar ~ from Mutineer, crew Foundry Crimean War range.

4th Punjab Irregular Cavalry

Gurkha Battalion

Loyal Bengal Native Infantry

The Madras Fusileers ~ the flag is a freebie from Swennn, a pdf he provided me with, including generic Union flags & Regimental flags. Thanks Martin!
I hope these meet with your approval!

I especially like the way you've done up the bases. Good work - nice to see somebody else so enthusiastic about the mutiny.

Thanks, Sepo1857,I really have the bit between my teeth for this project at the moment. I'm quite pleased by the bases too, I don't usually take as much trouble over them as I should in other armies, not gifted by too much patience it seems...
Currently finishing off HM's 7th Foot and painting three of the splendid Mutineer Miniatures village buildings ~ easier on the old eyes than the figures!
Cheers!
David
