Early contact clothing mind lapse

Okay it seems most Apache figures have muskets, revolvers, carbines, etc.  which is fine for 1800's.

But if you play games around the Pueblo Revolt era (1680 to 1692 +/- 10 years) or earlier what would the Apaches and other South West Indians be wearing prior to obtaining Spanish style clothing?  Skirts/dresses for females?  Loincloths, capes for cold nights?  I can't find my books that deal with the era and I am drawing a blank on this subject.

I guess you would need open handed or melee weapon armed figures too instead of revolvers and winchesters.
