Here's another thrilling fact about METAL SHEETING (today's HOTTEST TOPIC) that some of you may find interesting.

Someone on the terragenesis boards did some digging and found out that diamond-pattern metal plate only dates back to 1933. Which is interesting because I totally thought it would have been older.

Might not matter, but some of the pulp gamers on here might care. Then again, if you're going to include it in VSF, which includes stuff like aeronefs and nautilus-flavoured submarines, I don't see why you can't fudge the creation date for diamond tread-plate.
