No, not strictly gaming-related, but too entertaining not to pass along:

Only 21 instances of gambrel?  I'm shocked and disappointed!

Oh, and worth noting as well: the link above also sends you to a free complete works of Lovecraft for eBook readers.  You can also download software to view the documents on your computer.

I always think of Gibbeous and Eldritch when I think of HP....

Too cool.

I'm not using "noisome" enough in daily conversation. Nor "antediluvian". Then again, that could be because I don't converse daily in English...

there are some great words there that need to be re-introduced back into everyday conversation.

Sounds familiar.  :D In fact, I dare say that I owe a significant portion of my vocabulary to H.P. Lovecraft (and Gary Gygax).

Don't forget Necrotic and Necrous!!

Amongst the somewhat less common (let's not dwell on 'faint') I do oft use charnel, foetid, and gibbous. Hmm, is that a bad thing to admit?

While not a devotee of HP, I appreciate where he's led. I've a t-shirt that's a mash up of his work and a hit movie, titled 'On the Brokeback Mountains of Madness.'

Hmm, is that a bad thing to admit?
