How to make some REALLY cheap Dwarves look rather good
« on: 27 April 2011, 08:42:26 PM »
The latest Combat Zone Chronicles has an article showing some conversion of our (em4) plastic dwarves and they look jolly good, considering they retail at 21p each (or just over 15p if you buy a bag of 50...!)

Here's a taster:

They are very good irrespective of their cost.

This is great! I just ordered 50 of each to play around with a bit, as I left the rest of my stuff back home when I moved.

Well, he has used quite a few bits of GW plastic, shields from Wargames Factory and he has added some Vendel metal Dwarves. All in all, if you have to buy all the conversion bits plus the metal figures it won't be that cheap and it will take a lot of time. But they do look nice, I grant that.

I've already got loads of plastic GW tat around the house, as well as HF dwarves, so I just need something to fill in the ranks! 8)

Or you could just sell the HF dwarves and get em off your hands.  :-)

These look great, very nice paint jobs , I really like the bright red and white on the shields.
