Fire Wasp...

Basic painting finished. I have to convert, paint and add the crew figure(s) before finishing the detail painting and a final 'dusting' with pigments.

Nice work as usual! I can't remember if you finished the original one? (The one from At-43). And did you receive my email? ;)

This is the original one (you, of all people, know how slow I am  lol). And, yes, got the email  and wrote a long, meandering reply but the internet went down as I was about to send. I'm off today so will get around to it again later.

This one is most certainly up to your usual standards and I look forward to seeing what you come up with for the crew.

The vehicle itself, doesn't really do anything for me...I can't put my finger on it but there is just something that doesn't click.

My modifications maybe? I don't particularly like the wheels now. The newly re-released Fire Wasps have solid resin wheels as opposed to the ill-fitting rubber tyres that came with the original release - the reason i swapped them for space marine bike wheels.

I think the chunkier wheels are an improvement to be honest...it is the shape and layout of the vehicle, I think...
