Here are some shots of the hangar I am working on. It's the Plasticville Hangar with some toy casts off from my son, Worn Torn Worlds crates and Pulp Figures.

Hope you enjoyed theses.

It looks nice, but we are loosing a bit of the detail in the flash.

Yep, I still don't have the photography bit down yet. I am going to try to take the pictures in natural light and see if that works better.

The Rocket Ship is a painted cup from Dennys. It's part of thier D-fusion kids menu. I just went to my local Dennys and asked if I could buy a couple. cost about $1.68 if I remember correctly.

There are some good lighting and photography tutorials out there on the web, if you're interested in doing it right. You really don't want to use your camera's flash for this kind of photography. Instead, use a couple of lights near the camera to light the scene.

Two other tricks I learned: Shoot at your highest resolution and crop down to the area of interest. The other thing you can do is put your camera on a mini-tripod and set the self timer when shooting a scene. That way the pressure of pushing the trigger button doesn't cause motion blur.

What are the scientific devices in the hangar ?

I can see that one looks like a plastic pistol, and one looks like a Heroclix computer console, but what are the others ?

Just toys I liberated from my son's toy chest. One was a fast food give away that he had duplcates of, the pinchers, the other I am not sure what it was from, but he had lost or broken the other part of it, so dad took it for his miniatures.
