Rogue Trader

Hey guys my mate is looking for an actual rogue trader as a model... and we're a bit stumped.. thought i would ask your ideas..

Criteria:

28mm, think merchant, fancy-ish clothing, ornate sword/pistol, possibly a little podgey round the midrift..

The closest your going to get from GW is probably the Imperial Navy Officer in the Guard HQ. Try Reaper.

Maybe this one is what you are looking for. Has no weapon and is sadly oop but you can find him on evil bay from time to time.
He's from Warhammer - Dogs of War - Sheikh Yadosh. I have also seen him named Moneylender ... I think he used to be in a box with a horse-drawn cart and a chest full of gold.

I really like EM4's "Civilian, Trader with cape" as a Rogue Trader:

Here's a paint job that I didn't do:


His pistol looks quite a lot like a laspistol and the model itself is finely detailed. That said, it would fit in better with Rogue Trader era models than with the current 40k line.

@ Backyardpatrol.. he is awesome love him... i think he would make a great space privateer

@Pil i think he would fit in better with the army to be honest like you say other RT models
