Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons,
for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.

Those look great. What would you have improved if you had more time?

A bit more highlighting and shading to create greater contrast and more work on the faces.

Thanks for the comments everyone.  :)

Very nice indeed, very smooth transitions and great pallet choice. What's your skin receipe (generally?).

For the caucasian skin tones I used a base mix of GW Foundation Tallarn Flesh and a little VGC Beasty Brown or Dark Fleshtone. Next highlight was pure Tallarn Flesh and then I just added VGC Bonewhite for further highlights.

The black skin tones were Done with a base of VGC Charred Brown and highlighted by adding Beasty Brown. A few lighter highlights were done by adding a touch of Tallarn Flesh to the mix.

Hope that helps.

These are so amazing it makes me look at my own paintjobs with disdain, heh.

How long does a 'quick' paintjob take you?

Please tell me the text on the Police shield is a decal. That's mighty crisp.
a mixture of quick parts, sarcastic humour, reserve, and caprice.

3 - 4 hours which is quick by my standards, especially considering how much time I've been fiddling around with today's paint job.

Not a decal.

In fact this is the second time I've painted this model and done freehand lettering on the shield. I thought my first attempt was a fluke but managed it well enough on the second piece too (may have been a double fluke then  lol ).
