Trent Miniatures review
« on: 18 July 2011, 07:56:12 PM »
I just received some for the Ireland campaign, Irish Militia, Highland Fencibles and British Officers.
They are big chunky figures I plan on useing them with Old Glory but would not mix them up with in units.
Overall the sculpting is good except for their muskets which are rather poor.
What I really don't like about them is that the metal is very ridged which can make bending things back in place difficult.
Overall I like them.
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it anymore and what is it seems weird and scary.

I painted two units and then decided I couldn't take any more. The cartoon like chunkiness really turned me off as did the fact that the pikemens hands didn't align.

Those must be the Irish rebel pack I passed on them, I thought their heads looked funny. The one I bought is uniformed British troops but are listed as Irish Militia.
