I was *not terribly impressed when I saw these... Most of the new ogre models look like they've slightly lost the plot.

and I've never liked the GW plastic Ogres.

I love the new GW Ogres, and I wish I could have a huge army of them, including all these new minis, but I'm just not going to pay those prices.

I sold all of my ogres (except one) a couple of weeks ago.

 Theres not much in the new GW range that is making me regret that choice.

I'd be slightly interested in the background fluff on how they get on, winch or bloody big ladders

Oh, you mean the body-building Huns? 

Body-building Huns would look better, the Ogre sculpts are just weird, they are fat (double D man boobs for goodness sake) except for their arms and shoulders which are slabs of muscle.
 

To be fair some of the character models were pretty nice sculpts, for fat ogres, but the plastics just ... urgh yeah.

I see such things all the time as I drive past the local gym. Blokes in the carpark who have epically muscley arms but huge beer guts. It's like cardio is a mortal sin to them...

Despite my dislike of silly proportioned-miniatures, Space Marines I can understand.  These ...things? Nope.  Just hideously bloated "asian barbarian" caricatures, and the price they're asking for is akin to those clothing stores that ask $75 for a freakin polo shirt just because it has a certain logo on it.

I know the recent monsters for storm of magic cost just under $60.00 CDN so probably similar to that.
But these photos were in WD. SO they are GW photos.....

There are no photos beside the ones from GW anymore. And before the publishing I consider them as not being official. Hmmm
