How to paint jet black hair and red/auburn hair?

What is your recipe and 'how to' for jet black and red/auburn hair?

Ive picked up a couple of Reaper figures with the intention of converting/painting as Spider Woman and Black Widow.  I typically use Vallejo paints, but use Reaper and GW from time to time as well.

Do you have any good recipes, or good hints on how to get these colors right?
