Love Stargrunt, but don't get to play as often as I'd like.  Tomorrow's War has been easier to find players for lately, mostly due to the big shiny rulebook.  Both are very good games with similar feels but very different mechanics - although I tend to play TW more like SG2, with larger squad sizes.  The small four-man fireteams AAG favors for their scenarios feel a little too fragile to me, and they don't fit my minis collection as well - I don't have enough heavy weapons.

I have owned SG for many years, but have never played. I have a hard time remembering and distinguishing all the acronyms :(

I did start playing SG recently but then moved town and haven't found anyone else to carry on with. I really like the rules and the implied bias towards narrative play and GM'ed scenarios, and I'm glad that this thread seems to indicate there are opponents out there somewhere.

We do exist! :p My previous SGII oppo lives in Edinburgh and would game when he visited. Haven't seen him since I got married though and not for a while before that either.

GRUNTZ sounds interesting, I might take a look, but I do like me some Necromunda.

I have played SGII since it's release. (I was a member of one of the Beta test teams) I find it works well with infantry but is a little harsh on vehicles. My current club is reluctant to play it "due to the variety of dice used". I am currently looking at Tomorrow's War but fear I'll get a similar reaction from people who think 40K is a decent SF system. (If Colin refers to "Sisters of Battle" much more I may have hysterics)

40K is a great laugh but it's not great Sci-Fi...!

Reel 'em in by using 40K figures with Tomorrow's War/SGII?
