That's a lovely bit of pianting.

And I'll second the call for more civilians - not just for 40k or from GW but frankly for just about setting imaginable. But the lack of sci-fi civilians in particular has been one of my bugbears for years.

One really interseting thing about this figure is how small he is.  He's actually closer to a Perry's Historical Miniature in size, than he is to most 40K minis. Even the Imperial Guard tower over him. Could be useful to people playing with slightly smaller minis.

Yeah, I was quite surprised by that too when I bought the pack of three models he came in.

I have that figure somewhere! I wonder if he could be used as a medieval figure?

@Red Orc - I know what you mean about civilians - in the future, there isn't *only* war 

There are a few SF civilians about - Antenocitis Workshop do some, and Reaper and Effigy have some, while not exactly civilians, not armed to the teeth, figures.

Back on topic - I have missed that figure, somehow, but I think he would be ideal for fantasy and medieval as well. We should just be grateful GW didn't give him a cyber arm/eye/head etc, as they have a habit of doing  . Although, a three feet long quill does suggest he's compensating for something

You would have to do a bit of work to un-sci-fi him if you want to use him for medieval. He does have some wires running into the back of his head. There is also a little mechanical box under his clipboard. And the clipboard (or whatever it is) has a few dials on the bottom.  The left hand is so skeletal, that it might have been intended for it to be cybernetic, but as you can see, it doesn't need to be.
