Carlist Bugler
« on: 04 April 2012, 02:31:24 PM »
I was one bugler short for a Carlist battalion and decided to convert one from the bits box. I used a Perry's Carlist figure and bits from the plastic sets;French infantryman head, French Dragoon bugle and ACW infantryman arm. The rest is "greystuff". It was my first atempt at sculting a hand in 28mm and it doesn't look too bad. Next I'll add the cord and paint.

Looking good, and one of the parts of the hobby that I enjoy the most, the conversion and scratch building. The hand looks just fine to me, and certianly better than anything I would have managed... I cant sculpt at all.
