The white Austin armoured car mows down the Red cavalry squadron.

And the winner is... German player Driscoles, who captured his objectives and raked in some more VPs as bribes for his changing allegiances during the game. For once, a German victorious. Didnīt see that too often in the last century.

Finally, a group mugshot. ;)

Nice battle man.  Lots of different sides.  Must have been interesting to keep track of.  Where can I get one of those Austin armored cars?

Looks like it was a funny battle. A superb assembly of nicely painted miniatures, scenery and vehicles as well. Now that was eye-candy!
TANK POLO? God, how our gardener hated that game!

Absolutely top drawer stuff, inspiring report chaps. I haven't had a chance to try T&T yet, but they read like a whole load of fun.

Man!  That was a really great game!  T&T works really well, it's a fun and really playable set of rules that opens itself up to many pulp possibilities - especially if it involves several units and troop types.

And the rules are also versatile enough to cover other periods like Darkest Africa, Boxer Rebellion and WW1.  After this Tashkent game, the board was set up for Spanish Civil War using a variant of the T&T rules written by Westphalia Chris.

Highly recommended!!

This was really big fun. Poliorketes had the scenario idea. It was based on a book that he recently read. The book  was about the mix up in Russian revolutionary Tashkent and it sounded absolutely weird ( with Britisch, Reds, White and German Pows involved )so he thought that would make a great scenario.

Everybody ( 9 Players )  became a force of about 25 figures. Some had vehicle or heavy weapon units. The setup for the Reds and Whites was randomly. The British started at a tableedge and the germans at the rail.

I played the germans and I think I had the easiest task. I had to capture the trainstation and sell my troops to the highest bidder.

The reward was a trainticket home for Hauptmann Gottlieb von Wendehals and his men. Because Wendehals didnt trust anybody it was clear from the beginning that he would do what was best for his men. Even if he had to make contracts with both Red and White.

Wendehals paid the highest price for victory. He gave his life for his men but the reward was worth it.
