Ammon Miniatures' OMG!
« on: 30 May 2012, 08:00:36 AM »
Ammon Miniatures, known (mileages may vary) for their let's say less serious approach to miniatures are launching a new series of limited edition minis under the title OMG!
http://ammon-miniatures.com/archives-en/new-serie-of-kits-omg/?lang=en

The series is promised to consist of "girls on tanks, girls on motojets, girls on mechas…well, there will be girls on vehicles!"

The first example is timely in the wake of the launch of Dust Warfare as it has some Weird Wars look to it. No info as to if the rest of the line will follow suit (if they do this thread is obviously misplaced).

Anyhoo, 'tis much too cartoony to be my cuppa (and anyway I'm mostly a miniature gamer, not a miniature collector/painter) but somebody might like it I guess.

Definitely shades of Metal Slug in with the Tank Girl influence.

Cool tank.  Not so cool price :(

The tanker-chick is a cute idea, but the execution's a little off. The helmet she's wearing fits like a swim cap - instead of like a steel helmet which has a liner, etc. It makes me think that her skull inside is a lot smaller than it should be. Cute enough, but I try to stay away from microencephalic girls with high explosives.
from Mr.Vampire: "It's the paintjob that makes the miniature fight harder not the size."

It's a cap, not a helmet.  ;)
