I'd like some for a Dark Young too.

The Winged Nightmare is meant as a 'generic' profile to describe Hunting Horrors, Flying Polyps, and all variety of airborne eldritch beasties.  Dark Young is one we probably won't ever do anything official for, as we've generally limited our scope to Lovecraft's own creations.  I'd consider it a Formless Thing for game purposes.

Also, remember that you can always buy additional skills to modify the profile as well - up to five per Lurker model.  That allows for a great deal of 'personalization'.

That is one of the best aspects of the game, I reckon: By basing a creature on an existing profile and adding to it, you can create just about anything and it is still perfectly 'legal' and there should be no arguements from any rules lawyers out there.

Im more likely to set my games in the worlds of Ramsey Campell, like Goatswood and birchester. As im english.. Also the lovecratian novels of Brain Lumley in which his charaters actully fight back!!

Same here.
Mine are all set in the UK, in fact our group is just embarking on a campaign.

Thanks for reminding me of the Necroscope novels.
I need to read them again!

I think that you can use the Formless Horror stats. I would add some ambush skill or something like that. The agents will need to spot it before shoot it. And another thing could be that the Dark Young must be deployed near woods if it wants to use the ambush skill. Now we need to decide what´s the "ambush skill"  lol.
