Napoleonic Italian Greens
« on: 30 July 2012, 02:09:11 PM »
Gentlemen

Apologies if this has been covered before but does anybody have any 'recipes' for greens for the Light Infantry uniform post 1809 and also for the Chasseur uniforms same period...I have pictures but love the easy life and will gladly accept advice from experts.

Thanks in advance

I would try posting on the Steve Dean forum, as this is more painter oriented.

Sorry. I have never had much luck with greens myself. For the last year or so I've just picked three or four vallejo greens I like and mixed 'em. Military Green is always a good starting point if you have access to vallejo. It needs a little black in it if you are doing a really dark green like a British rifle regiment.

GW's revamped citadel paint range includes some good greens.
