Post on Troops Weapons and Tactics Minis - US Army
« on: 03 October 2012, 10:23:39 PM »
I was stuck in a longish conference call last night and pulled out some old miniatures to see what I actually had.  I surprised myself with the amount of minis that I had that I had forgotten about.

I have been painting the stars on my vehicles.  Does anyone have a recommendation (other than use decals) how to paint a star straight?

Anyway, there is more on my blog.

Thanks for looking.

Can't help you on painting stars other than advising you weather them a little bit and look into some of the other decals you can get. Tank names, numbers etc all bring the mini's to life.
cheers
I came, I saw, I went home again..

Many years ago I made a stencil to paint stars but after a while decided it was far too much effort and went with decals.
