In the absence of any other answers, yes!! I find it very good for British infantry battledress, don't go overboard on highlights though. As a tip, I prime my Brits matt white, then apply a brown/black wash all over, this gives a nice dark tone to start working on, and is better than a black undercoat as the colours stand out, certainly in acrylics, and don't go all muddy on you. GW Kommando Khaki, or whatever they are calling it today, is very good for their equipment/webbing etc. For British helmets I use GW Catachan Green. Hope this is of some help.

My way for doing '44 British...

Step 1 - Coat in VJ English Uniform and then a healthy slosh of GW Devlin Mud

Step 2 - Re-highlight with VJ English Uniform

Step 3 - Highlight uniform and paint in webbing with VJ British Tankcrew

Step 4 - Highlight webbing with VJ British Tankcrew Highlight

...and thats the uniform and webbing done!

Nice work Major Smith.

My version is similar, but I use burnt Umber and English Uniform as the base, English Uniform, and then English Uniform and Khaki (Game Colour) for the highlight.

Cheers,

Helen

I do similar, but use burnt umber as an all over basecoat.
Use English uniform then English uniform+Tanker highlight( panzer aces colours)
The webing can then, over the burnt umber, be painted using khaki then khaki+iraqi sand
A thin wash of Gryphonne Sepia over the uniform areas 'warms' the tone slightly and gives a bit more contrast with the webbing
