Carthaginian Heavy Cavalry

I was finally able to complete the full unit of Carthaginian heavy cavalry tonight. These are 28mm and figures are by Gripping Beast.



The unit is dedicated to the goddess Tanit and carry her symbol on their shields.

They look very good. I find it a bit sad that the Romans destroyed Carthage so utterly. It would have been interesting to see another city like Rome flourish and make it's mark on the world.
