Murder in The Cosy Wosy Forest
« on: 05 January 2013, 09:37:40 PM »

Painted these some years ago, but never took any photos! Hope you like.  :)

I love the miniatures and have a set of goblins to fight them.

Nicely done! These and the Beastlands range are one of my big projects for the year. Already have my bugbear set done http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=49160.0

I agree with you while I like Songs of the Splinterd Lands I'm looking for a set that will allow me to use loads more of these great figures on the tabletop at one time.

Where is your druid from? don't recognize him?
Was thinking of using this as a druid http://www.reapermini.com/FigureFinder#detail/03102 but really would like to see SLM do some elves and humans to go with the line.

Hi

The druid is a classic metal magic sculpt I bought in 1991 ot there about.

Interestingky I havent read of others who are mixing in 28's with their stuff. I hope to get the witch done soon also and start work on terrain after that. I'm split between medieval and samurai style buildings for them.

I'm doing SLM druid's children vs 1980s Olley goblins (Iron Claw) as a side project trying to sucker my wife into miniature gaming for the last time. If cute little mice, hedgehogs and moles bashing goblin skulls won't sway her, nothing will. =)

That is odd. It's the way I've thought of doing it too. The small size of the woodland critters makes perfect sense when you put them with 28mm figures for bigger races.

These guys are great, lots of vibrant colour  :-* They are a little like the Reaper minis but smaller and cuter. Great blog btw, I really like the space police.

Cheers

Good stuff. They make me think of the Redwall children's books that I read as a kid.
