Captain Weissman and the City's Finest
http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/hh135/Yankeepedlar01/Pulp/P1020169.jpg

Will the rooftop lookout spot them in time?

Or will the Precinct Cops head them off?
http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/hh135/Yankeepedlar01/Pulp/P1020175.jpg
It all got rather nasty...
http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/hh135/Yankeepedlar01/Pulp/P1020162.jpg
A Drive by shooting seemed the last resort for the Bicclione Mob...

As they went down like ninepins the Press were on hand to capture the scenes for their readers...

Buildings are by Old Glory, their Chicago Ganster range. The church is by Hornby Railways from their Scaledale range, the vacent lot was made by Phil using some Ainsty/Old Crow bits as a base. The cemetery is from Ainsty/Old Crow again with tombs I bought from Hasslefree.

Lovely stuff, and very inspirational! I know I use the word "inspirational" a lot, but I mean it every time. Your set-up has that feeling of completeness that I value very highly in this hobby.
"When to keep awake against the camel's swaying or the junk's rocking, you start summoning up your memories one by one, your wolf will have become another wolf, your sister a different sister, your battle other battles, on your return from Euphemia, the city where memory is traded." - Italo Calvino

Wonderful Stuff,  :)
Where did the newspaper stand and the street lights come from?

The news stand is from Steve Barber Models. The street lights might be too, but they're not pictured on the Steve Barber website so I can't know for sure.

News stand from Steve Barber Models, Lights from Old Glory Chicago Gangster Building range ~ they also do wall mounted variants ~ in sets of 10.

Rules are usually ".45 Adventure" or "Astounding Tales" depending on how we feel.

I have to echo Rhoderic's comment on "completeness". The gameboard is a very well realized cityscape and the mailboxes, streetlights, vehicles, and newstands really give a great period feel to the game.  The game might have been fun with felt roads and tape outlines for buildings but this type of beautiful setting takes everything to a much higher level. I think that this forum (and a few others) are really pushing a higher standard! Keep it up!!
