Victorian Wheelchair, anybody make one?
« on: 06 May 2013, 06:54:48 AM »
Just what it says, I'm looking for a Victorian style wheelchair & rider. Anybody know of one?
I am looking for the following Deadlands minis:  Shotgun Thug, Lost Soul, Cleaners, Railroad Workers & Feral Dead. If you have any of these minis, or if you are one, please send me a PM.

In 28mm? And do you have an picture of one? The best from my quick search is the Black Cat Bases one:

I think there's a figure in the new Wolsung game in a wheelchair?

EDIT: Okay, perhaps a bit too Steampunk, but you can see him here: http://www.shop.microartstudio.com/sir-zachary-fiercebatten-p-843.html

Pulp miniatures do a wheelchair and patient. Not sure if it's too late for you.

Steampunk isn't really an issue, I'm working on a VSF version of the Doom Patrol & the Brotherhood of Evil so I don't mind the steam tech. I've never bought from Wolsung, how do they square up to say Foundry or Westwind? Does anyone know?

Style I can work with, I worry more size wise. Are they close or noticeably bigger?

The Prof can provide one from the LAM Heroes and Villains range:

I have one of these and it is a wonderful sculpt.
Now you have me thinking of using it for VSF.

Their site says 28mm, but I couldn't tell you for sure how their figures stack up in the real world.

If it helps, Micro Arts Studio are the same bunch who've done the Discworld figures, so if anybody knows the scale on those, it's probably a safe bet to assume Wolsung's in the same scale.

The Discworld figures are big 30-31mm. If you care about that sort of thing.

I think they would mix quite well. I only have the one buts is an Ogre Bruiser being used for EotD but he is meant to be tall.... Saying that though we are talking about a figure in a Wheelchair so does height really come into it.
