Dark Age Characters
« on: March 17, 2013, 07:12:24 AM »
Hi all,

I've recently finished off some of Gripping Beast's Dark Age characters, namely Alfred the Great and Gunnar:

Thanks for looking  :)

Handsome! Do they have an army to lead? If so are you going to share it with us?
Measure with a micrometer, mark with chalk, cut with an axe, hammer to fit, paint to match!

Very nice, but one minor criticism - they are a little shiny. It may very well be the camera flash, in which case ignore my comment. If it is not the flash, then maybe a quick spray with a dull-cote type varnish will sort that out.

Thanks. Unfortunately, no army. I bought them as a planned project for an army of Dale, but I have been in the process of getting rid of my LOTR stuff, so thought I'd paint these up as they should be and let someone else enjoy them!  :)

Thank you. IT is the camera flash, yes. The iPhone is rubbish for taking shots of miniatures. But then my photography skills aren't that great either! lol  ;D
