Resin Sub with VSF potential
« on: March 27, 2013, 08:32:52 PM »
I found this sub at a Petsmart in their fish tank accessory aisle. It is 5 and a half inches long from bow to stern and 4 inches from periscope to waterline. I've placed a 25mm figure for scale. The sub is hollow and can hold several figures. This is its original paint job. I can see a host of possibilities for this piece.

Nice one. I can think of a couple of uses for it.

OOoooo, weird feeling of deja vu...

Just noticed it last night, though I was a bit put off by the large openings. Of course, now, what seemed a liability is probably a feature.  lol

it needs gigantic war-of-the-worlds style legs so it can trundle across the swamps and swim with the fishes.

Some of the after-Easter clearance clear eggs may well do service, assuming I can find the right size to clip the 'ends' from.

Had this sort of in mind, though those are REALLY large circles.

*shrug* We'll see.

Not like the toy conversion pile shows any signs of slowing in growth.

What?  Have you been sneaking around my blog?   lol  http://steeplechasingzebras.blogspot.com/2013/03/terror-strikes-acquaintances-shocked.html

You did beat me with a photograph, though!  I bought one as well though I plan to use it with 15 mm.  Will have to get creative with those openings.  Too big!  But it is a more imposing vehicle in 15 mm than in 25 or 28, yes?  Fun either way.
