So, if it read:

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES are you allowed to start discussions about current political events OR potentially contentious religious issues.

Why I have to read BAD!

Secondly, discussions on these contentious real-life topics almost always end up in some kind of argument and bad feeling which is damaging to the karma, courtesy, and general good nature of this particular forum. So let's not drag that sort of thing into a forum which is about our enjoyable hobby. Leave it where it belongs.

According to you

If a miniature producer makes "italian fascist miniatures" in Spanish Civil War and call them Italians
is damaging to the karma, courtesy, and general good nature of italian members of the forum!

If a miniature produce makes miniatures of "tortured females"
is damaging to the karma, courtesy, and general good nature of members of the forum!

... b ut nobody say it is against rules of the forum or decided to change forum's rule ... truth is always better then false!

It is not my problem of traduction the problem is rules do not say the truth!

There is a certain irony that we can then get on with talking about World War 2, the Spanish Civil War, the Russian revolution, the American Civil war, the Crusades etc etc without being concerned about the politico-religious philosophical issues behind them. Just an observation.
That is my topic!
I would agree somebody discuss about this question, not traduction or "," or "OR" or "karma" ...

please discuss about this starkadder topic!

Off course according to rules we cannot discuss about starkadder topic in this forum, we have to discuss in an other place!

According to the rules.
I don't understand what your point is pierrebi.

The rules say no discussion of politics and religion. That seems clear and truthful enough. And the reason why the forum has this rule is borne out by most of the comments above. Most members do not want 'real life' problems and arguments intruding on their hobby. Most members understand that these sorts of topics often lead to arguments and ill feeling which they do not want to spoil their enjoyment of the forum.

If you don't like the rules, you don't have to take part in the forum. But there does not seem any point in repeatedly complaining that you don't like the rules, or that they are not truthful or clear.

I suppose one could complain about the rules if one doesn't like them. After all, they aren't holy scripture. I wouldn't personally start a complaint thread about them tho but instead propose it directly to the admin. Tastes vary in that regard I'm sure but all the same I don't think it's quite right to start a complaint thread about them with a quote mine.

@pierrebi:
It's not the complete sentence in question you are quoting. It is fully in compliance with the grammar rules to list something as 'not permitted to w, x, y, or z' meaning 'or' between each listed element. You could sobstitute 'and' for 'or', and the rule would still apply.

As for the discussion of historical conflicts, be they political and/or religious, I have never on this forum seen a discussion on whether this or that participant was righteous or not - merely ppl seem to seek historical ifacts on how to arm/organize/paint the miniatures needed to play out the conflict.
Ask at the LAF, and answer shall thy be given!

I understand that you've felt that you were wrongly "accused" of starting a thread about the new pope. But please, for the nice atmosphere of this forum, let it go. It's not a big deal, and you're just building a case against you when you continue to post threads like these, and hijack other ones. Stop feeling so wronged. It's not the end of the world, move on and enjoy the forum for what it is :)

I think Silversixx pretty much sums it up. I'm going to close this thread to avoid it deteriorating.
