Some pulp sculpts
« on: 09 June 2013, 03:40:06 PM »
I sculpted a couple of pulp heroes. She's 31mm and he's 33mm to the top of the head (hat), but given their slender proportions, I feel they qualify as 28mm miniatures (whatever that means).

I'm reasonably happy with them even if a few things went wrong. I fixed his nose after taking the pictures but I will probably leave them like that. They're intended for gaming and will be some minor characters anyway. This being said, I'd be very keen to get feedback on them as I would like to improve on my sculpting.

Very nice.
Are you going to have them cast?
Below is a link to my blog. It's the place where I write uninteresting things about little toy soldiers. I do this because I refuse to grow up and behave like an adult.

Thanks for the nice feedback.

I made them for fun and I never intended to have them cast. One day, if I'm really happy with a sculpt, I might be tempted to produce a small series.

I painted the male adventurer and on a whim gave him a pair of sunglasses.
