Why No 15mm - 1/100 Scopedog Models Available?
« on: 10 September 2013, 07:41:13 AM »
Pretty simply, why no 15mm version? In this day and age with the talent that is out there and the companies that can manufacturer from pics and files are there no models in this scale? The Scopedog comes in many other scales but nothing i have seen to work for 15mm. Am i wrong? Did i miss it somewhere? Got pic? Got link? Got the urge to send off to Shapeways or the like? Please share.

No idea...though I swore there was a company which made tiny notScope Dogs for a while?  I think the main reason is that it's not a very common/popular Anime and all of the Japanese companies are predominantly interested in model kits and not wargaming, thus no interest in the scale.  A Scope Dog is a tiny mecha (what 12 feet tall?) so at 15mm it'd be pretty damned tiny.

GZG has some 1/300 6mm scopedogs and other mechs from the series. But thats far from 1/100.

Looks like kits and action figures go down as far as 1/60 scale. But there have been multiple series of gashapons and trading figures of Votoms that would fit the bill... probably. Search for "Votoms Gashapon" and see if any of the results suit what you need.

Seems there were 1/144 ones at least:

and the regular sized gashapons which are probably more like 1/60
