I have to agree with Sgt Scream. Your color choices are great. I wondered if you cut the figures off the integral bases. I ended up doing about two-thirds of mine that way. The other third I trimmed the bases down and sunk what was left into a hole cut out of the slotta base. Then I puttied the gap. This is how I got many of the Aliens on bases, since cutting them off bases included cutting into the tails, which aren't the most sturdy sculpts around.

Dammit. This is not helping me focus on my Blade Runner project. At least there's some cross pollination in these two subjects.

It's always good to see an Aliens thread. Nice work. Take a look at Akula's garrison troops for potential figures too. I bought some from him to use as corporate security. I really should pull my finger out and get my own thread sorted. I am in admiration of anyone who does!

@Rob_Jedi Thanks also, Yes Shadowrun I got a lot for dirt cheap over a year ago with something like this in mind.
Can also play Shadowrun now if I knew the rules.

Good work on those Leading Edge figures. I absolutely love the Aliens, but painting some of the humans is an exorcise in turd polishing. Ripley is particularly bad. I'm much happier with the Hasslefree Singee, which I believe you've already painted. (Some of your photos didn't show up when I looked this morning.)

@Michka, yeah she is a challenge at the least. I may try to improve on her but I am afraid of making her worse. Its not so bad in person. Newt too.

Heres some more of the aliens. I had a hard time with them getting the shading right. The pics don't show the blue aspect that they have by giving them a blue wash after highlighting with codex grey then highlighting again with a light grey and a final wash of 50% badab black.
