Based on the feedback from the second thread I ordered a set as well. Here's my feedback:
The order showed up pretty quick (shipping from Poland to the US in about 10 days). The figures are cast from 3D prints. While the print quality is superior from anything you could get from a place like Shapeways, there are still some print lines here and there that puppet wars didn't clean up such as curvy parts like the helmets. Almost all of the lower bodies had bubbles at the ends of the toes, not detrimental but annoying. Six of the ten heads had damage to the back where it looks like they had been cut from the pour lug too closely. These were a huge issue as the back of the helmets was too damaged to salvage.
I immediately sent an email to Puppet Wars. They responded a week later saying they'd make it right. Approximately two weeks after that I received another package with a second copy of the trooper parts. Unfortunately, the new parts had a lot of the same flaws as the first. In the end I was able to make 10 good sets of parts. I've got five assembled and painted and the final product looks pretty good.
It all turned out OK in the end but it was a hassle to have to complain. Being resin, the figures are also a little on the expensive side. My advice on ordering from Puppet Wars is that if you want any of their items on a lark, I'd pass. On the other hand if something really catches your eye and you just have to have it, go for it but be willing to put up with the hassle.
