Comparison of two rules sets?

And

2) has played Rally Round the King - http://store.twohourwargames.com/rally-round-the-king.html - which Ia m reading now

Can you please tell how they compare and which you prefer (and why) please?

I've got the Hostile Realms rulebook, scenario book & cards lurking in the depths of a cupboard somewhere. After a brief flick through it didn't grab me much so never actually played it. If you've got any specific questions about it though I could dig it out, have another read through & try to answer them for you.
