Looking for a Samurai noble
« on: 23 January 2014, 05:05:47 AM »
I am looking for an unarmoured samurai noble to play the part of target in a ninja raid.

I found the EM4 one but this turned out to be out of stock. I can't seem to find a better alternative and would welcome any suggestions.

Perhaps in one of the EM4 pre painted packs?
Cheers,

Perry Miniatures?
http://www.perry-miniatures.com/product_info.php?cPath=23_38&products_id=2339

You get six in the pack, other option is to try eBay.

There is also a nice non aggressive, unarmoured samurai in the Perry's town folk

If you want seated Samurai Perry's have a couple of sets but all the seated figures have armour on to some extent.

Don't forget Dixon.
It's nothing, sir. Just a burn from a ray gun.

Brigade Games has the old Bushido line of figures that Ral Partha made years ago. They have a pack of unarmored samurai that might work. Look for them under the Parroom Station section as "Heroes of Nippon".

There are so many alternatives.  Really depends on size and sculpting style of the other figures you have (what fits with what).

Well, despite all the help from you guys it turns out to be not so easy. I am looking for a 28mm standing unarmoured noble in court attire (with the winged overcoat) compatible with Perry/Nort Star.

Museum miniatures does not seem to use Paypal. EM4 is out of stock and so is CP Miniatures (same model). Foundry are too small and cartoonlike. Clan War and Brigade Games triple in price due to S&H.

My best hope so far is Museum using PP after all or EM4 restocking....

Patience.. Not my thing....  ;)

EDIT: I folded and bought the Perry set. Thanks people for the help!
