Need some help with 15mm US Bolt asction list

My gaming group is looking at starting Bolt Action, but haven't started yet. We were thinking of doing it in 15mm instead of the official 28mm scale both because it's cheaper and there's just so much more terrain and such available in 1/100. My problem is I don't have the rules, and have never played a game, but I love the basic US infantryman (US rifle company was my main force when I played Flames of War).

I ordered the Plastic Soldier Company US infantry box and the Heavy Weapons box, so I should have about 3x as many infantry as I'll ever need including riflement, BAR gunners, NCOs, machine gun/mortar/bazooka teams etc. I'm looking for some advice as to what vehicles ot purchase and how to build a basic starter army for the game. I may buy the 5 halftrack box from plsatic soldier co, but for tanks will probably just buy a few singles from Battlefront as needed, maybe a few jeeps as well. Any advice as to what I should be grabbing and how I should be building it? I don't own any vehicles yet (sold my FoW years ago) so I'll need to pick them up as I go.

Keep in mind that you normally need only ONE tank in BA!
