A little IHMN help please.

Okay, I am using the formulas in IHMN (page 34) + HVF (page 10) to understand the process of costing a figure.

I want to create some Companies for Africa, Asia, and the Americas using Europeans "gone Native" (Tarzan, Sheena, others,) plus indigenous peoples.   

I looked at Tarzan (more powerful than what I am envisioning since 75 points is 30% of 250 and 25% of 300 points. Add Jane (total 99) and you have 39.65 and 33% respectively.

So, using Pluck value (16) + FV cost (16)  + SV cost (4) + Speed bonus (2) + Armor Cost (0) + Weapon cost (3) +Talents Costs (34) = 75.  Okay...

Jane = 4 + 0 + 1 + 1 + 0 + 3 + 20 = 29!  The downloaded Chart says 24?! is that a typo or am I doing something wrong?

Lions and Tigers: [pluck] 4 + [FV] 9 + 2 (from animal Base Movement Rates page 10 HVF) + [armor] 1 + 0 (weapon cost) +  [weapon Bonus for +2 of 2) + [Pluck Penalty -1 x -1 = 1) +  Terrifying (10) = 29 but the book says 30. 

I have a few other questions/examples but let's start here, please.
