Ah, I once tinkered with the thought of a group of Miners' Union militants from the Rhondda Valley, covered with coal dust, riding pit ponies and armed with shotguns.

They'd go on a raid, then they'd get lashed up, come to Cardiff of a Saturday night to get even more lashed up and pull a cougar.

Sometimes fact is stranger than fiction mind.

LOL! You could do minis of my Dadcu and Uncle Ben! But armed with pickaxes, not shotguns. Some could ride sheep. (Well, they probably did, didn't they?) And with the Welsh Baptist preacher leading them with a Bible in one hand.

'Valley Commandos' is a modern nickname for the boys (and girls) who swoop in to Cardiff from the valleys towns and villages on a weekend to seriously hit the pubs and clubs. Basically they do so much damage that when they leave it's like there's been a military attack.

They may or may not wear underwear whilst doing it.

I just thought it was a nice little play on words for a VBCW force.

Well it seems that I shall name my Welsh resistance as Valley Commandos. Now to find suotable female members to add to the bunch.
