Crossed Lances 2nd rule set
« on: 03 April 2014, 05:11:52 PM »
Hi Guys,

Just letting you all know that our second set of rules (for foot melee, archery and crowd events) are now at the printers and will be ready for Salute. Included in this set are campaign options to do dastardly deeds to your opponents, ranging from swiping an opponent off his horse,  through to curses and dirty tricks. We think a lot of fun to play whilst in keeping with history and surprisingly a great family game to play at home apparently, the two rules used together will give six good games to entertain you, that is the joust, mounted melee', foot melee', archery, Squires and events and dastardly deeds.

This second set of rules (for those who bought the Joust rules) will get a discount on the second set.

Many thanks to you all for your superb support.

Over 300 participated in our joust game on Saturday, a very good day at Salute for us.
So a big thank you for the time you took and the rules you bought.

Martin

Although the printers were late with the delivery of the second set, being outsourced abroad, this did save us costs so have reduced the price of the second book to £18, we also decided to sell (if both rules books are bought in one order) the set for £30 which works out to be only £5 a game.
