No one could ever accuse Alex of giving himself an easy path with the match ups! I think he's been up against everyone in the Top 10 of the Leaderboard...!

Both entries are simply stunning. You would have to shrink ME down to 28mm to be able to paint tartans like that....

Great entries from two of my favourite painters in the LAF.  Just wonderful to see.

*gah*

Had to nit-pick and button-count on this one. Did decide, though...

Likewise. Very, very hard call.

I agree with the above!

Excellent entries both. Impossible to decide. I may not be able to vote on this one... But those are excellently executed shields on the Wuffingas, but those fabric patterns on the celts...

Thanks

Oh my dear, a very painful decision. Two of my favorite painters against each other. And this both paintings are very high standard. Can we change the rules and give both a vote???? o_o :?

What a match! Both are really similar and both are fantastic. Nice choice of colors. I like especially the brass armour and helmet of the King of Wuffingas and the of course the tartans of the celts. 8)

I don't have anything new to add, these stellar entries. They both require a lot of close inspection :)

I've noticed that in past LPLs as well
