Got in my monthly Flintloque game today and went up against some ogres with my undead force. A lot of remembering rules as I haven't played with the zombies in a long time, much less against ogres and my strategy was about as sound as my dice rolls, which is to say bad, bad, bad.
The ogre forces squaring off against the undead.

My forces outnumbered the ogres by almost three to one but this wouldn't last long at all.

The ogres lined up across the wall and fired a few shots at the undead as I moved to outflank them. This would work fine until I decided to test the waters with melee and the ogres began pounding the undead into rotten pulp.

Things just fell apart as I committed my forces to melee and as taking stiff, rotten zombies against ogre superiority. It also didn't help that my vampire officer had the 'Haughty' flaw and had to engage the ogre section leader in melee combat and got smashed. This is the price I paid by taking a weak vampire in order to get more zombies on the board.

Finally, after the vampire was dispatched the ogres focused on the KGB liche and well. It was kind of all over by then.

A ten on the ogre melee and a one on my roll and that was the game. Not much point in making transmogrification rolls as the forces were crushed.
"Bad liche, get back to the witchlands!"

And that was that. Back to the drawing board to come up with a more viable list for next game. Zombiski Cossacks are done so I may well take them out to the field.
