Thanks, I started printing out those rules, but my inkjet ran dry, but I have the first 40 pages to read... although I'm always wary of big rule sets... 

The basic rules are the first 15 pages of the LRB6, that's everything you need to run a basic game.

The extra rules (which most people seem to use all of, and which do make the game more involved) and the league rules are the next section, another ten or fifteen pages. The last part of the book is skill descriptions and the team rosters. Can't really describe that as a "big" rule set compared to a lot of more recent sets!

Perhaps but then I typically use Akula's AR:SE rules, so compared to two sheets of A4...
