Hey Ho to the bottle I go
« on: August 21, 2008, 07:51:36 PM »
Hey Ho to the bottle I go
To heal my heart and drown my woe
Rain may fall and wind may blow ,
But theres still be.....
Many miles to go.
Sweet is the sound of the pouring rain,
and the stream that falls from hill to plain
Better than rain or rippling brook
Is a mug of beer inside this Took

I painted a bar keeper and a waitress for my tavern

Absolutely love the barkeep!  :-*
He really looks the part - well done!

Nice minis and a good paint job but as a historic archaeologist the bottle just blows the scene for me. That is a cylinder bottle, which wouldn't have been around until at least 1780 and probably after 1815. Your bartender needs a squat bottle or onion bottle to fit the time period.
