Link the steam powered armoured wagon with the trusty 13 inch mortar and you get some pretty powerful self propelled artillery...those pesky Martian Tripods better watch out ...









A sort of surreal 1880's SturmTiger I suppose...

Brutes indeed - appropriate that they look cast iron.  Puts me in mind of some the American Civil War equipment (the giant mortars, the Monitor, etc.)
