I prefer thinner bases myself but the basework is indeed really well done!

Am I the only one who doesnt like the way his feet hangover the end of the base? Everything else I really like, but it just spoils it for me. Sorry.

That's the problem for using standard GW bases.
(Personally I use some cardboard)

In my opinion this is not so ugly,as the base seems to be cut off from the ground ...
(I'm not sure to be clear ...  )

Hi,
Thanks for all the comments. Unfortunately when I started this project, a couple of months back, I chose to use the 25mm GW bases and the only one that I could use for this figure was the cavalry base. As a result I was faced with the choice, either his feet overhung the base or the Lewis gun would, I chose his feet. If I was doing him again I would rethink the base.
